Zenescope sent me the cover for Volume 3. It seems the photo cover of issue 8 will be used for volume 3. I do not know yet if it will be manipulated or not.
Paul said he thinks zenescope picks photo covers for the volumes because they are more recognisable by Charmed fans who do not know about the comics.

This preview raised so many questions for me.

If she was [spoiler], then why is she purposely distancing and ,to a certain point, ignoring her sisters? If I died and came back to life with a hint of my past life, then I would definitely go back to my loved ones, she didnt even stop by for a visit or sent them a quick text. like really...
What do the [spoiler] story and the leo story have in common? They must be related somehow, right?
Those are my big two questions. And im planning to read the comic on wednesday, so these are just some innocent pondering. -

When Kostas expressed his response to Paul, gave the implication that he didn't know what the preview would be, as in how many pages, so I don't think that's his say. Yes, he can decide what page such info goes on, but I don't think he's going to force a piece of the story to be later then he has it just to keep it out of the previews we may or may not get one to four days ahead of time.

@Twilight - I checked. The creative team has now been updated not only to include issues 15 and 16 for Michael Spicer, but also 17. And as far as I can tell the rest of that page is up to date as well, right through Tess doing issue #19. As to the character updates, I don't think he's read those issues (due to a lack of access where he is), so he maybe having difficulty figuring out exactly what to say. Though of course the spoiler section should be useful there. I bet if someone wanted to write a summary of the characters experiences in issue 13 and then one in the current story arc thus far, he'd get it up quickly. Of course if someone does that he'd better mention them on the main page, but he's generally pretty good about that.

Not related to this, but I'm sooo happy me and my friends finally received our copies of Charmed Vol 2 in the mail today! :) :)
We've been waiting for it forever and even though we knew more or less what's going to happen in the issues (we visit/read on this site often), we still found out many new things in the Volume or were finally able to see how all those scene you guys were describing, looked on paper. -

@Jeremy - Well, at least that gives us the completed cover and tells us that Michael Spicer is the colorist for issue #16. I wonder if he's going to be the main colorist. It also gives people the chance to order it from Zenescope if they want. I always wondered why they didn't have the issues listed on there before the issue was out. It makes sense to me that they should put the issue up as soon as they get it in solicitations so that people can preorder it. That's probably not what's going on here, but you never know. Maybe it is.

@David - I'm guessing it's because she's not as fast as Dean Kotz. I don't know long she needs to do an issue, but I suspect she can get it done fast enough for them if she needed to, but as long as they keep bringing her back, I'm going to be happy about it.
@Seerempath - Sorry that you don't find it all that interesting, but I think it sounds awesome . . . Except for where Paige is using magic for personal gain, but I love detective stories. I'm so glad we get Tess for this one. -

@StoryGirl83 A lot has been said about Dean's speed and honestly it shows he works fast. Most of his work looks unfinished and rushed and I haven't been enjoying the series as much since he took over (I haven't even read the previous 2 issues yet). I would love for another artist to take over because Dean's work just isn't suited to the comic.

This is great news! I love Tess's work. I'm happy that Dean was made full time artist to get the comics back on schedule, but once they are ahead I think they should bring back Reno.
I haven't read any of the comics since issue 13 because my subscription ran out at zenescope. I tried to start a new subscription with Forbiden planet, but they were totally hopeless so I abandonned that ides. I hope to read all the issues soon. -

@David - I feel the need to clear up what may or may not be a misconception about me. I believe Zenescope chose Dean Kotz because he draws fast. I believe that he has improved and I like his current work better than some of the issues done previously. Of course several of those are his own works. I am not happy that he is the full time artist, but I am happy that have a full time artist. The ONLY artist that I WANT to be the full time artist is Tess Fowler. I have liked varried aspects of different artists work thus far, but she is the only artist whose work I really love. Yes, she still has work to do to get some of her likeness perfect, but she's done an incredible job and I like her work best. So I wasn't saying that I approve of the most likely reason for Dean Kotz being the main artist. I was saying I understand it. And I do think he is improving. While Phoebe really looks nothing like Phoebe, I think he's done a decent job of making her look pretty in the last two issues. I'd prefer a pretty Phoebe that looks like Phoebe, which I think Tess delivers. And I like Sarah's looks as far as Dean's original characters go and Kama. I'm not understanding how you can say you haven't like the series since he took over if the only issues you've read with him doing the art are the ones before he took over. That's what I'm getting from your statement, since the last two he did where #14 and #15 and #13 was done by Reno. And the stories alone, espeically fourteen, are worth reading a comic with stick figures.
@Jeremy - You aren't the only one. My local comic store is telling me that it's not on their list of comics coming in either. I have found no evidence of it coming out on eBay either and they usually are good about at least having an auction or two the week before it releases. I'm trying to remember . . . which issue did this happen to before? Where Zenescope was 100% sure it was going to be out, but somehow it didn't come out due to a mix up with diamond until the next week. -

No matter what I don't think Prue was ever going to have a one-shot before her sisters, but maybe she'll get the next one-shot. I know we all want Prue, but I doubt we'll be seeing her in that one-shot. It's possible we might see her before then though. I mean that is Cole's goal after all.

It makes me laugh how people are so impatient over Prue. Seriously, we don't even know for sure what form she's coming back in yet... do people really expect to get a one-shot summary and cover that's going to give it all away? She's part of the main story-arch. Perhaps they will do a flashback bonus issue like they 'To the Manor Born' showing what has happened in more detail... or maybe it'll be given enough attention in the main story that it won't be nessecary.
Either way, I'm really looking forward to this... wonder if Rose will see it, I know she loved Charmed Noir -

Hey! Did you read what it says on the door? I was looking at it and unless I'm mistaken it says:

I think that makes Henry the first character to get his name on a cover. I guess it makes sense, seeing as the cover is making it look like Paige went to see a detective who happens to be Henry (which the summary implies is not true). But that's cool that Henry gets his name on the door. -

Actually there is news to post, you just haven't noticed it, I guess. I wrote a comment below about the new Zenescope digital comic ap and the fact that starting in January, digital Charmed comics will be same day as print.
Thanks for the news about the date of the release on issue 19. I will let you know if I find a completed cover for issue 16 before you post one. Have you verified with Zenescope that it will be out next week? -

I was looking through my tweeter timeline and I learned two things for people who read digitial comics. 1) Zenescope has it's own comic app now, so no weeding through all of comiXology to find stuff from them. But since it's connected to comiXology anything purchased there is also available with this app. 2) Starting in January of next year, so I guess with issue 17, Zenescope is bring Charmed digital comics to a same-day-as-print format. That means $1.99 for a digital copy on the same day the $3.50 physical copy comes out. Doesn't mean much to me since I still plan to only buy volumes for the digital copies (and lots of issues for the physical copies), but for those of you on lower budgets or who live somewhere that it is hard to get the physical copies, this means you can get it sooner and cheaper.

If anyone is interested issues 13 and 14 made 271 and 274 in the top 300 in sales in September respectively. The actual numbers were low, but I'm going to trust Zenescope on this. Volume 2 made 130 in its category. For something that made the best sellers list the number is rather low, so I suspect that the numbers aren't accurate, but still interesting. I wonder if Zenescope could be convinced to tell us the actual numbers.

How high are the chances of Patience being Prue? I mean, I know that Patience has Prue's powers of telekinesis and telematerialization, but there has been no sign of her demonstrating astral-projection, has there?

@ArdentCharmedFan - Well, really we can't say how high those chances. I could see Paul taking a character who is relevant to Prue's storyline (which Patience almost certainly is) and giving us a ton of clues to imply that she's Prue and then let us find out she isn't. Here's what I see. She has two powers that could be powers Prue has used (I'm not sure about the one she used to fill the glass. It may or may not be what Prue used in the Pilot), however both abilities could be whitelighter abilities. She closed the door with her telekinesis, a very Prue like thing. She has brown eyebrows (probably irrelivant since it could be a colorist thing, but you never know). Her name starts with a "P". She says she looks good for her age. I'd say she looks like she's about Prue's age, so that particular thing has me wondering more than anything else if she isn't a red herring. That line almost shouts whitelighter to me, but the line itself could be misleading as we don't know what age Dean was supposed to make her look. Maybe she's supposed to look like she's twenty compared to Prue's 36/37. Maybe Sarah's sixteen and that's why she keeps calling Patience, Ma'am. I think that most witches either come into their powers before birth (Phoebe and Wyatt), as young children (almost every other witch we've seen), or as teens (Billie and probably Sarah), so it would make sense for Sarah to be in her teens. And sixteen's about as young as you can be to get a job without jumping major hurtles in the US.
And no, so far as I noticed, no sign of her astral projection, but there really wasn't a need for it, so that's not surprising. -

I think it's probably the 1/4 whitelighter thing, but it could very well just be that hybrid's are just as diverse as any other genetics. Sometimes all you get from mommy's dad is your eye color or your hair color or your skin color or your talent for music or something like that.

I received my free download because I e-mailed Zenescope that issue #14 was missing from their site. Today I received an e-mail from Zenescope saying:
"We've held off on adding Charmed 14 to our website due to an error in the issue. One full page was duplicated, leaving another out. We may be adding it soon, however, we want customers to be aware of the mistake first." -

For those of you who, like me, purchased a copy of issue #14, here's instructions on how to get a free digital copy or even a free copy of another issue from Zenescope of equal or lesser value. And unlike what I thought from what I read from another poster, it's actually pretty easy (unless you want the free copy of another issue, that requires physically mailing something to them).

As to Kat and Tam's powers, that should be discussed on the spoiler page for issue #15. I am going to post a response over there since it is a little more involved question that cannot be answered without spoilers.
On the idea of Kat and Tam having a one-shot . . . that won't happen until they are at least talking. I can't say it will ever happen, but if they get a one-shot, they will at least be able to talk which we have seen no evidence of as of yet. They might be able to, but we haven't heard them talk yet. -

Hey random question. In issue 12 neena says if it wasnt for her none of them would be alive and pheobe says are we supposed to know what you mean. Then neena says melinda was an aberration and that the angels of destiny wrote the prohecy of the charmed ones or whatever. Well when neena says if it wasnt for her they wouldnt be alive is she refering to the extra story in volume 1 the warren born when she sent charlottle to eva or is she saying she was the one who granted melinda her powers which the rest of them inherited or is she just saying it cus shes there ancetor?

it can have more than one explanation. 1rst if it wasnt for Neena generally nobody would exist cause she is the "eve" of the charmedverse. And also because she saved Melinda Warren by leading Charlotte to the colony of virginia and because she didnt help charlotte stop her pregnancy.

@CharmedComicFan - Actually, I don't think Neena wasn't the "Eve" of the Charmedverse. She was the "Eve" of the magical Charmedverse. Leo says it happened in the early days of humanity, not that it happened in the very beginning of humanity. Obviously, I could be wrong, but I got the impression that she was an early human, but not the first, that she was the first witch only. I got the idea that while a lot of people are her decendants, not all are. It would be an interesting topic to discuss.

I do feel pity for Neena, though. I mean, what woman who want one of her children becoming the ancestor of evil warlocks, and to be forever separated from her own husband? While it is an undeniable fact that she did terrible things to be reunited with her beloved, one has to give her credit that she managed to control herself for untold centuries before finally snapping. But...random question here: Neena once told Charlotte that Melinda had to be born for "everyone's sake". Is it possible that she had already foreseen herself turning to the dark side in the future, and that it would take the magic of each and every Warren witch to stop her?

@Texan - When I have trouble with that, I click the spoiler link and then when it opens the page with all the spoilers, I click the link for the issue on the side panel rather than on the main part of the page. See if that helps.
Good story by the way. I especially like the dedication to Dave Hoover and (my favorite part of the "ads") the letter about the "imp" who took page 10 out of issue #14. That was hilarious. -

Definitely a difference between the two colorin jobs. Some of it I like better, some not as well. I noticed that the shadows are different in the two images, so I guess that is something more in the hands of the colorist than the person doing the pencils. There is more 3D to Jason's color's but sometimes that doesn't work out so well, like on the cups in the last frame. I like Jason's choice of color for the cafe sign, but prefer Michael's choice of color for the buildings in the third frame. It's also interesting how different they did the reflective surfaces of the windows.

Paul doesnt want to reveal Charmed #18 title (probably because of spoilers) so he revealed the title for Issue #19
- The title for Charmed Issue 19 is ... "Crossed, Triple-Crossed"
Charmed #19 is going to be a one-shot for Paige.
Paul also implied that Charmed #18 will not be the end of Arc 3.
When i told him that it is interesting we are gonna have 2 one-shots in one story arc he replied:
- We're going to be doing things a little differently. Just wait and see.
I cant wait to see what Paul has in mind!

Do you mean perhaps that "Crossed, Triple Crossed" will be like an intermission between two halves of a story arc (kind of like "Morality Bites Back" to a degree)? Is that what you are guessing?

@CharmedComicFan - Story Arc 3 is not the same as volume 3. "Piper's Place" is part of Volume 3. It is not however part of Story Arc 3. It is a one shot. Likewise, "Morality Bites Back" is part of Volume 2. It is not part of Story Arc 2. There is a difference. So no, Piper's one shot is not part of this story arc and neither is Paige's. Piper's is part of this volume and Paige's might be. And I do stress might. Paul never said that it would be part of this volume in what I read. I read evasive comments that can be interpreted many ways. And what I read was "But who said arc 3 ends with Issue 18?" That could mean that story arc 3 does not end with issue #18. Or he could be messing with us. It does not however mean that issue #19 is part of story arc 3.

They´re just goona center part of the story of this argumental arc on Paige for one issue , I guess because the story required it.

@RBN - A one-shot is not a character centric issue. "The Heir Up There" is a character centric issue. "Oh, Henry" is a character centric issue. "Cupid's Harrow" is a character centric issue. They are not, however one-shots. You see more of Piper and Paige in "Morality Bites Back", Phoebe's one-shot, then you do in "Cupid's Harrow". A one-shot is a stand alone story that doesn't need the other stories around it to tell the whole sotry. Sure it helps to have watched "Morality Bites" to get where the whole Cal thing is coming from and to have seen seasons three-five to know what on earth Phoebe and Coop are talking about when they discuss Phoebe's ex-husband. But it does absolutely nothing to advance the two connected story arcs on either side of it. You don't even get more on Elise knowing until the third story arc and you don't have to have met Mika in "Innocents Lost" to learn about her character. Everything you need it there. You can read "Morality Bites Back" and you will not be asking any questions answered in the story arcs (unless your question has to do with Elise and knowing about magic). It is a one-shot. One-shot at getting the whole story in one issue. The same applies to "Piper's Place". Sure it's nice if you know about her search for a restaurant or what Melinda did to the restaurnat at one point, but neither thing is all that important to the story. And the fate of P3 is covered in the issue. It doesn't answer questions left over from story arc 2 and it doesn't ask questions that are likenly to be covered in story arc 3. It is vaguely mentioned in "Cupid's Harrow", but the reference in "Cupid's Harrow" doesn't actually require the issue to take place. It's stand or fails on it's own and does not ultimately affect any other issues all that much. As to not making sence to include one issue just randomly in the middle of a story arc, isn't that really what they did with "Morality Bites Back"? Sure the Source and Hogan were gone by the end of "Unnatural Resouces", but Neena was clearly in charge and it's more like Story Arc 1 Part 1 and Part 2.

I've been thinking. What if the "triple" refers to Paige's three sisters? A little Prue/Paige rivalry perhaps? Piper would definitely side with Prue, especially in the early days of Prue's return to her sisters, if that's the plan, Phoebe may side with Piper and Prue just because she doesn't want to go up against her newly returned eldest sister...Hmm. Food for thought.

Its the final issue of arc 3 and here is the summary:
- Demons have the run of San Francisco, Magic School is in turmoil, and Leo is missing (again)! When personal problems intertwine with magical ones, every member of the Halliwell family is in danger. The Charmed Ones must come together to bring the world back into order while their own magic works to tear it apart.
Wow! right? It seems like all hell breaks loose in issue #18. Cant wait!

You'd think this'd fit better with the title 'Family Shatters' but it looks very cool. I like the develish looking shadows in the mirror, one thing I love about the comics is that demons can look more like monsters the way they did in the first couple of seasons when the budget was higher.
@Power of three: If Prue returns in whatever form, they can only show us so much on the cover without major spoilers. The cover for Family Shatters is incredibly suggestive and that issue hasn't even been released yet. -

i actually find it a good idea. it will be a very strong return. Of course if Prue is possesed , not evil by her own. And then the sisters save her and then we have the happy reunion. cause if Prue pops randomly without reason then it would be boring while with this evil storyline it will be intense

Same here. It'd be so dramatic! The Charmed Ones are poweful enough without Prue, however being forced to fight her would be huge! If Prue is the hand in the Family Shatters cover, I think this could definitely be the case. What better way to kill the Charmed Ones than with a Charmed One? If someone could control her spirit somehow, it's the perfect plan.

@Alexiapana8a: I think that there is most probably a brand new mastermind that has advantage of Prue. I do not doubt that Prue loved her sisters dearly and would do anything for them, but I think it reasonable that she would have felt some tiny amount of bitterness and resentment that she had been killed at so young an age and then have her position in The Power of Three replaced. Someone could have exploited that bitterness to turn her to the dark side. What I am wondering is: if she is the new villain, how are Piper, Phoebe, and Paige going to bring themselves to fight her (I mean, apart from their love for her, using their own powers against her might damage them severely as well - their Charmed powers are, after all, rooted in their bond as sisters, and using them against each other would severe that, as proven in one of the Charmed episodes). What do you think?

Not sure if that rule would apply, she's still their sister but she's not part of the power of three anymore. Your theory is along the same lines as what I'm thinking though. There are many possibilities, it's been a long time, who knows what Prue has gone through?

I would agree that there would definitely be some dramatic changes in Prue, given all the subtle hints we have received so far, and that several years have passed since her death. But...does anyone think she might manifest new powers as well? Given how her sisters demonstrated that evolution is still their faithful companion when it seemed like their powers had reached a "steadily-fixed" stage, why would it not apply to Prue as well? What does everyone think? Telepathy? Thought-Projection? Pyrokinesis? Cyrokinesis?

@ArdentCharmedfan - Well, that depends. If she actually is dead, no I don't think her powers would have progressed. I think when dead their powers do not progress (leaving room for any character who is killed and by any means resurrected to still be able to progress in their powers). Now, if she is alive I think her powers would have progressed and I think they would have progressed in the manor of her other powers, to something that has to do with moving things, so thought- projection, as you call it, seems the most likely thing. Telepathy is bringing thoughts to her and she always moved stuff away from her (while Paige moves it toward herself), so I like the idea of projecting her thoughts on others as a progression for her powers

Also Zenescope will re-release Volumes 1 and 2. Volume 2 on 12/21/11 and Vol 1 on 12/14/11
Whether the re-released Volumes will have different covers or anything extra is unknown.

Hi Kostas,
Zenescope just told me that in order to get the free digital copy of Charmed #14, we need to send the proof of buying the hard copy..as soon as Zenescope receives our receipt, they will give us access right away in ComiXology..
So basically the digital copy is not technically free because we have to buy the hard copy in order to get it..lol..hope this info helps clarify any questions u have in mind :) -

@cendul - I guess that means I'm out. All my reciept says is that I paid a certain amount of money to the comic book store. It doesn't say what I bought (three copies of issue 14). Oh, well, I plan on getting the volumes rather than individual issues on ComiXology. I have no need to have individual issues on there. They are much more collectable in hard copy. It makes sense that they would require you to purchase the hard copy in order to get the free digital one though. Thanks for letting us know.
Yeah! It's awesome to hear that they are rereleasing the volumes. What's with the dates though? I thought everything was released on Wednesday. Are rereleases different? If they have different covers, I will definitely buy them. I will have to think about it if the covers are the same. Obviously if there are any new extras I will also purchase them. I look forward to learning more. -

@cendul - Well, then anyone not wanting to purchase a hard copy should purchase a digital copy when that becomes available. I'm not sure why they don't make the digital copy available for purchase yet. The point isn't that you should purchase a product malefaction. The point is that you should purchase something. They have all these people who are involved in the production of the issue and if they just give it away for no charge then it will make it more difficult to pay those people. And it's not those people's fault that it got messed up . . . well, it's probably someone's fault or it wouldn't have happened, but not most of them. This isn't a case of "Oh, we're going to give you something free." This is more a case of "Since you bought our product despite the problem, we are going to reward you with an additional copy that isn't messed up." Besides, this is the going to be the "wingless Quakers" of Charmed comics.
@Matt - They are rereleasing them because they ran out of copies. They sold out. Or at least that is the assumption. You don't need to buy another copy. I will most likely only buy another copy if there is something different about the rerelease. But we already knew that they were close to selling out of volume #1 months ago. Maybe volume #2 has already sold out as well. They need to make more copies so that people who don't have a copy yet and still want a copy can get one. I know with their Grimm volume one it's been through several rereleases, always with a different cover. I don't know if it had new content or not, but it did have a new cover. I don't know if a new cover is enough of a difference for you. For me, I'd buy it for a new cover. -

I'm liking Dean's pencils but I'm not a fan of the colouring - it's a very flat style that isn't particularly dynamic. But my word, the story sounds so interesting! I was glued to the screen, it's a shame that it's over! If my comic shop doesn't have #14 in tomorrow then I'm going to cry (since I ordered it 3 weeks ago!)

In the very first pannel, Piper's likeness is there! Very good!! The third page absolutely rocks! Paige and Henry look exactly like the actors.
I have two disappointments: Phoebe's likeness... Dean rarely gets it right, but i like his style... and Paige's orbing! It looks a lot like the Remote-Orbing from issue 12, but this time it has a little blue fog, which i think saves the 2 or 3 orbs that have been drawn. I think the best orbing effect was in Marcio's issues...
Overall, this looks like an amazing issue! I like it! -

I think it was interesting that it was specified that Henry thinks it was the Firefly nightlight that TAM likes so much rather than that the girls like. It's the first difference we've seen about them. I wonder if it's important.

And it doesn't have to be a firestarter power either. It could be something that shorted that nightlight, maybe an electrical power. Still could be a firestarter power, but there are certainly other options. -

Guys, remember in the show, it was said that firestarter's powers show up only at puberty... as it happened for tyler. According to the BoS: It first manifests in adolescence with the onset of puberty.
So the twins cannot be firestarters.

Paige is using orb shield (i am amazed at the shield's power being able to block all these weapons, it also surrounds them all like a bubble) and then it looks like Paige is orbing while using the orb shield or does she orb the orb shield while they are in it? Either way her powers seem to advance and become stronger

Oh my freaking god this looks phenomenal! Paul was right, Dean Kotz can fit SO MUCH into a single page!
I think it's Paige that orbs them out of the trench and not Phoebe flying them out. Her levitation power just doesn't work like that. It's not even Projected Levitation (yet?). It'd be an absurd sudden power boost. She's just gotten her powers back! She doesn't need any more!
This looks like it's gonna be an amazing issue. I can't wait for this! I'm still yet to read #14 thanks to my comic book shop failing to get it in 3 weeks running because of it's lame supplier. Ugh. I might have #15 read by the time #16 is released! -

Wow, this is amazing. However, I don't think Phoebe levitated them over to the other side because if you notice they are off the ground. So I'm guessing that Phoebe levitated them in the air and Paige orbed to the other side because there is little orbs between the two images of them moving in Paige's orb shield. See Paige can't orb in the air and stay there, so Phoebe levitated so the orb could be in the air and she kept her levitative stance, and Paige orbed them to the other side.

This is stunning! I love the artwork, though it doesn't really seem to fit the Charmedverse...
I agree with you guys, they have traveled back to the war!
First: where are leo's wings if he has the sword?
Second: I bet Piper is freezing all the weapons around them, so they can fly away.
Third: Phoebe is actually using Projective Levitation. It is obvious they are floating in the air, since the orb shield is a perfect circle instead of a cropped sphere (as if it was on the ground)
Fourth, Paige's orb shield seems very powerful... and i believe she orbs them out while levitating in an orb shield, and while Piper's freezing the weapons!
Very good action scene! I hope Dean will work out this sketch a little bit more before the coloring. But anyways, it is great job!

@Charmedforevah - Perhaps Leo has the ability to use only one at a time if he wants and thus doesn't have to have the wings unless he is using them.
Lots of weapons that aren't used much now, swords and canons and tanks (probably still use tanks, but when was the last time someone used a sword in battle?) That would be very cool if we got to learn more about the time when Leo was still alive (the first time). I would love to meet his family, but I doubt there's time for that even if they have gone back.
Lots going on in those two pages. I believe it's called clutter by some and background by others. I'm okay with it for two reasons . . . swords and cannons. Well, and it looks seriously cool, too, but mostly the swords and cannons. How often do we get to see that in Charmed. :) Giddy here. -

@L-L - I suspect that, presuming Prue is in this story arc (which I think she will), that we won't see her until "Family Shatters". I think that "Where There's Smoke There's a Firestarter" and issue #16 will focus on other aspects of the story line, while slowly bringing us closer to Prue (most likely through whatever Cole is doing), but I don't think we'll see her until "Family Shatters" or if we do, we won't realize it (which can be done even if somehow she was a perfect Shannen Doherty look alike, though of course we've been told that won't happen.)

Phoebe's levitation has advanced so much. (not that it's a bad thing) Well it's about time as both her Empathy and Premonition powers haved advanced and her levitation power stayed the same before. But now it looks like she can now glide long distances, like almost flying.

I have a partial review of this in the spoilers section here, though it is not worded quite that way. It does give my opinion of certain aspects of this issue. I have more complete reviews of other issues elsewhere. And I certainly know where to find the reviews of others, although I don't think any of them come to this site and post much. None of them have a blog or a special comic website though.
And I wouldn't say these people have no affiliation with this site. I think several of them have posted here at some point or another, not all, but several and whose to say that they don't check it out from time to time. -

I haven't read this one yet either mostly due to the fact that Dean is the artist and I really, really don't like his style and it doesn't sound all too exciting either. And I agree with what the reviewer said about an arc, we need a good solid story arc and so far we haven't really had one. The last one was all over the place and the first was over just as it was getting good.

@David - I don't look for exciting. I look for a good story and this issue was a good story. Dean's art is improving and there are several images that I really like, such as the various original characters. The likenesses aren't perfect and Piper's likeness isn't good (you really don't want to hear my thoughts on Piper's likeness throughout the series though, so I won't go into that). I did however enjoy the story a lot. If you don't read it now, I would at least get volume 3 when it comes out so that you can read it later with the rest of the story arc later on. Of course you don't have to, but I think you will like it.

@RBN - That's probably why they picked Dean Kotz, he draws faster than the other artists. And with each additional issue that he draws he does better. I'm looking foward to seeing how his art has improved in additional issues almost as much as I am to finding out what the stories for them are they. I still would love to see more of Tess though. Maybe they can have Tess do the one-shots. Then, she'd have plenty of time to work on them and It would give Dean Kotz a chance to have an issue off or get farther ahead and it would give us a chance to continue seeing Tess' art. Or maybe they can hire Tess to do a second art cover. That would be really cool. We'd get to see a lot of Tess' art and we'd get to have a second art cover on a regular basis.

You never know, maybe Andy helps lead them to her. As far as we know he is dead and in The Beyond. But considering who he was and what he did, he could be a whitelighter. Although, would he chose that. Other than Sam the second time around, becoming a whitelighter appears to be a choice. Sure most people say yes, but I'm sure some say no. Andy had some exposure to magic and thus he might not be ready to say yes. After all if he died, he would presume that he'd get to see Prue again and his family again someday. He'd get to see any dead relatives as well. On the other hand, if he became a whitelighter he'd get to keep helping people, which might be something he'd want to do.

But...if you don't mind, there is something that I would like to discuss with you: Do you really think that Prue would appear as a stranger instead of the Shannen Doherty appearance that we are oh-so-familiar with? I mean, I find it difficult to believe that Paul would reveal a secret of that magnitude to us fans long before he reveals the rest of Prue's story (which is something that all of us are dying to know given how the show almost completely abandoned her after Shannen left). Could it be that it is just a "keep-us-in-suspense" method? You might call it wishful-thinking, but I sincerely pray and hope that Prue would appear as we know her, and that she finds her own happy ending like her sisters all did, despite being dead.

So far we've only seen the one-shot between story arcs and the first issue in the new story arc. I too am curious to see how they connect, but there's just not much you can tell from the summaries. So much just isn't said.

Okay I'm calling it right now..
After watching "morality bites" for the nth time, I have cocluded that Prue will come back as a blonde in a new body. The main villain will be Charon and the hand on Charmed#17 is Charon's. The next arc will be about proving whether this new girl is really Prue. I really want some sort of closure for Cole. And finally, I want some bonding between the sisters, especially between Paige and Piper to cement their sisterly bond!

@Felix At least one person is still reviewing them, Adam Reisinger. As to Kimberley Lynn Workman, the person on Fandomania who reviews, I wouldn't count her out yet. She reviewed issue #12 almost a month after it came out. And this isn't all that unusual for her. I'm sure she has a lot of things to do. Since it hasn't quite been a month since issue #13 came out, I'm sure she will get a review of it and #14 by the time issue #15 comes out (or at least #13). Her last review was a 4/5 stars review and she said she was excited to see what was coming next. Considering she was consistently giving 3/5 star ratings, I'd say she won't stop on the high point.
